MENOMONIE, Wis. – Kyle Heck (Plover, WI/SPASH) scored three of UW-Stevens Point's five goals on Saturday evening as the Pointers extended their winning streak to three games with a 5-1 victory over the Blue Devils of UW-Stout at the Dunn County Ice Arena.

The Pointers (5-6-1, 4-4-2 NCHA) tallied the first four goals of the night, two from Heck, his eighth and ninth of the year, and one goal each by Harrison Niemann (Canton, MI/Novi) and Kent Detlefsen (Lakeville, MN/Rochester).

Stout added a power play goal in the second, but Heck scored his third goal of the evening at the 5:42 mark of the third to give UWSP the victory.

Nick Graves (Hewitt, WI/Ashwaubenon) earned the victory in net, stopping 30 of the 31 shots on target by the Blue Devils. Stout's Tom Lescovich suffered the loss, giving up five goals and recording 31 saves.
