Welcome From the Athletic Director
Welcome to another exciting season of Pointer Athletics and our new athletics web site. We are excited about our new online look and hope you take the time to become familiar with the new format and the vast amount of information available.
The web site isn’t the only exciting aspect of the 2008-09 season. Our staff and student-athletes are working hard both academically and athletically to make this a special season. We take as much pride in our academic achievements as we do in our athletic accomplishments. We expect our 500 plus student-athletes to excel both in the classroom and in competition. We believe this difficult but gratifying combination is being accomplished here at UW-Stevens Point.
In addition to our web site improvements, academic accomplishments and athletic achievements, we have made great strides over the past several years in facility upgrades. We want to thank everyone who contributed to these projects. The Central Wisconsin community has been a major part of our success and we are always grateful for the continued support.
